Finally, I've found meself a maid! Hooray! :)Yesterday the agency called me and informed me that there's a transfer maid available. For those of you who don't understand maid jargon, a transfer maid is one who is already in Singapore and whom the employer returned back to the agency. For this maid, the reason for the return was b'coz the employer had received orders from his company to be outstationed in Qatar for an undefinite period. They wanted to bring her but there's a lot of complications involved in bringing a maid along. The agency assured me that this maid is very reliable and that she has received good feedback from the recent employer. They said that she is "too good to release". Well, I can only hope that's true.
So, yesterday evening me and my family (family includes: Hubby, Son, Mum, MIL, Sis and Niece) went to "interview" the maid. We found her oklah. She wears a tudung and has worn it all along, which is good. Mikail doesn't mind to be carried by her, which is also good. She is softspoken and mild mannered, which bodes well too.
After discussing about it last night with my hubby, we decided to take her. So during lunch time today I went to the agency at Golden Landmark and settled the first payment. As expected, I exceeded my lunch time...heheh...ssshhhh.
The maid will be with us latest by Friday, which is timely coz I've already taken leave for that day, for the planned trip to Fraser Hill (which was never meant to be)...*sigh*
Anyways, thanks to all of my frens and blog budz who have offered help or advice of any kind, following my appeal. I really really appreciate it. Love u gals lots! Muuaackks!
