I didn't know a single decision could have a ripple effect on me. Hhhmm, thats' not true...I did know that. What I didn't know is that it would burn a hole in my pocket.

The decision was not made by me but rather my sister-in-law and her then husband. They decided to split. So now, she's staying with my MIL and my MIL has to look after her two kids when she's working. My MIL has to send the kids to school and then pick them up after that.

How does it affect me? My MIL can't possibly handle 3 boys all on her own. Furthermore, since she has to send the older boys to school she can't handle it if she has to carry my son as well.

So, another momentous decison has to be made. It's a toss between getting a maid or a car. Either decision would be a strain on our budget. *sigh*

A maid solves the problem in all aspects, whereas a car only solves the problem of transportation if (and that's a big IF) we find someone to take care of him.

After pondering over it for a few days, we've come to a decision to hire a maid. Here comes another headache: I don't want to hire a maid whose trustworthiness is a question. I would rather hire someone who has proven herself before and who has good recommendations.

THUS, here comes my appeal to my fellow bloggers: If anyone of u know a maid who has proven herself to be trustworthy and hardworking, please drop me a line. I would appreciate it so much.
